- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★April 01, 2019, by luis cisnerosBased out of the old NASA Industrial Plant. This is a historical site that was turned in to Downey studios for a bit and now it's an outdoor mall. I, for one, prefer these outdoor shopping facilities. They have everything, clothing, electronics, shoes, crafts, Etc., Etc., Etc. If you have not been here before give yourself some time. Get breakfast, do some shopping, take a lunch break, continue with your shopping and stay for the Downey night life. Enjoy.
